i was reading someone's recent entry regarding a woman's rights concerning her unborn child. i wish that i had gone to that abortion debate, instead of studying. (i wonder which would have been more beneficial?)
it's really quite frustrating though, to argue with someone about the rights of a fetus, especially as a feminist.
i am glad that doctors are changing their minds about these horrific procedures. my new doctor won't do it, won't sign off saying someone else will do it, or even help a patient find help concerning abortions. i'm completely on her side.
you say a woman is simply a vessel if we're going to consider the 'thing' growing inside her to be a human. BUT IT IS A HUMAN! there's finger nails and toe nails, nostrils, eyes, heart. it's a fucking heart! how can you say that it's not human? not alive? not allowed to have a chance.
if you got pregnant, deal with it. there's lots of people who can't. if you can't deal with your child, let it live with someone else.
don't be a murderer.
murderers are selfish cowards.

tell me this doesn't resemble a human child..
